Water Quantity Risk Management Measures

Ontarios' Source Protection Plans will set out locally-based risk management measures to reduce or eliminate significant risks to drinking water supplies, and set out a strategy to implement these measures.  Risk management in this context refers to the appropriate strategy that governments, businesses, and individual property owners implement to reduce and manage the level of risk to drinking water supply systems where the quantity of the water source is potentially at risk, based on a Water Quantity Risk Assessment.  This document assists in identifying a wide variety of potential risk management measures that could be used within a Source Protection Plan.
