Introduced by the Minister of Natural Resources, Alan W. Pope, in June of 1984, this publication was designed to be the first comprehensive review of Ontario's water quantity resources. With 26 colour maps and various diagrams, this book reviews the supply and use of surface and ground water resources within the province, and explores possible future demands for the resource. The "Water Quantity Resources of Ontario" is designed to increase our understanding of the importance of our water resources - and to assist all of us in making decisions that will ensure the wise use of this resource for years to come.
